Pharmacy Technician Certification
The eligibility criteria for becoming a practicing pharmacy technician are different for different states within the country. For the state of Arizona this criteria requires that the person should be minimum 18 years of age, should have completed high school and hold a diploma, should have good moral character and pay a fee of $50 to the state board.
Additionally, it is mandatory for the person to have taken the ExCPT exam and have proper certification recognized by the state board such as that provided by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). Training is also a compulsory criterion for the state of Arizona. The person should also have 20 hours of CE two of which need to be in pharmacy law.
