Pharmacy Technician Certification in Louisiana

All candidates who are willing to be certified pharmacists must be registered with in a board approved pharmacy technician training program. They must also have a certificate from the pharmacy technician certification board. Experienced candidates must a total of 600 hours of training in a Louisiana pharmacy, out of which 200 hours must be in structured training program. Applicants are required to pass the exam conducted by the pharmacy technician certification board. All pharmacy tech registrations are valid for 18 months only.
