The eligibility criterion for becoming a pharmacy technician varies from state to state within the country. For the state of Montana the requirement is that the person should be minimum 18 years of age, not committed a felony, should hold a high school diploma and pay a fee of $60.
A person can only perform the tasks of a pharmacy technician after receiving appropriate training under a licensed pharmacist.
