Pharmacy Technician Certification & Training
Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy requires registration and requires any pharmacy technician to complete the Pharmacy Technician Training Program Phase I (initial training) prior to receiving a permit. Additionally a fee of $40 is to be paid to the state. Phase II of training is referred to as on the job training which is done under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. He has to complete the training within 90 days of receiving the permit.
Completion of a recognized training program is required under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist and the state board approves the ExCPT as well. Certification is completely voluntary.
