Pharmacy Technician Certification & Training
The eligibility criterion for becoming a pharmacy technician in Washington is that the applicant must have a high school diploma or GED, should provide evidence of training approved by the board, should submit proof of HIV/AIDS training and the applicant must apply for certification from the board by submitting a fee of $50.
Training can be completed in two ways : Formal Academic Program or On The Job training approved by the board. 520 hours of lectures and discussions and testing should be included in the program and at least 8 hours are to be given for studying Washing Pharmacy Law.
